Configuration
Configuration lives in two places:
- The in-game Settings screen — most day-to-day options, saved to
data/settings.json. config.lua— the defaults, the sit-engine tuning, and the notify system.

The in-game Settings screen overrides the matching config.lua defaults. The notify system is the exception — it lives in config.lua only and is never changed from the UI.

The editor also has a Discord webhook field under Systems. When set, the server posts an embed to it on every sit created / updated / deleted and on settings changes. The URL is stored server-side only and never sent back to clients.
